Mansfield coaches head to a school of their own
It’s still summer, but coaches around the state of Texas, including many from Mansfield, went to school this past week – coaching school.
It was the annual gathering known as the Texas High School Coaches Association Convention & Coaching School. This 84th edition was held in San Antonio and drew attendance in excess of 11,800. The THSCA has over 20,000 members.
For Mansfield ISD coaches, this annual meeting serves multiple purposes. Timberview football coach James Brown wasn’t able to attend this season, but much of the Wolves staff did make the trip.
