InSideOut California to Launch this Week

In partnership with the Rams, Chargers, California Interscholastic Federation and the National Football League Foundation, InSideOut California is kicking off today and tomorrow in Los Angeles and San Diego, California.

We’re gathering together hundreds of educational leaders from across the state to discuss the reclaiming the educational purpose of athletics in our school communities—and how to create space in the culture to support our athletic departments in transforming sport into a tool for human growth and development. 

“When know that when students are connected to an experience and they have a relationship with an adult who really cares about them—one who allows them to show up as themselves—belonging and a sense of security follows.” said Jody Redman, co-founder and executive director of the InSideOut Initiative. “We’re looking forward to connecting with school leadership in California to reestablish the purpose of education-based athletic programs, and put our student-athletes’ growth and development at the center of our work.”
