Charlie Campbell

Charlie Campbell is serving in his 20th year of public education and his 11th year as an Activities Director. He’s spent the past seven years at Brainerd High School in Central Minnesota.  Today, Campbell is an active member of the Minnesota Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (MNIAAA) and is currently serving as the organization’s president. Campbell also serves on the Minnesota State High School League’s (MSHSL) Educational Advisory Committee and assisted in the development of the WHY WE PLAY curriculum. He has shared his knowledge and passion for education-based athletics with several hundred coaches in his role as a member of the coaches education faculty. Immediately before his service to the Brainerd Public Schools, Charlie served as four years as a high school principal on Minnesota’s Iron Range. Charlie and his wife Amy, a middle school D/APE teacher, live in Brainerd, MN with their three children, Katie, R.J., and George.
