
Matt Percival
Matt has been a teacher/coach/administrator in the Rosemount, Apple Valley, Eagan School District in Minnesota since 1994 and specifically at Eastview High School, where he currently serves in the role of Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Athletics, since 1997.
This position includes the supervision of the entire Athletic Department as well as the Math, Physical Education and Social Studies Departments, along with several teacher learning teams. Outside of Eastview, Matt has served on the MSHSL Coaches Education faculty since 2010. He has presented to thousands of coaches, teachers, parents and students not only in his own district, but across the state of Minnesota, several states across the country and even across the globe at the International School of Dakar, Senegal on similar topics focused around our greater purpose or our “why” as educators, students and human beings. Matt is married to his wife Robin and they have two college aged daughters (Katie and Emily) who were huge benefactors of their education based athletic experiences both in high school as well as in college. Matt has been a head high school hockey and softball coach along with coaching his daughters for many years in all of their activities.
