Micah Kiser
Micah Kiser is currently a member of the Los Angeles Rams, where he has played linebacker for the past three seasons. Drafted in the 5th round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Micah was an All-American Linebacker at the University of Virginia (UVA), where he led the ACC in tackles 3 years in a row. Micah was a 2x team captain, and won the 2018 Campbell Trophy, commonly known as the Academic Heisman, for his stellar work in the classroom, as well as for his leadership off the field. He was instrumental in helping to coordinate UVA football’s response to the 2017 racial violence in Charlottesville as a result of the “Unite the Right” rally.
In his younger years, Micah attended the Gilman School in Baltimore, Maryland. At Gilman, he played three years of varsity football for Head Coach Biff Poggi. Through Gilman Football, Micah learned the value of football in today’s society, as many of Coach Ehrmann’s teachings helped lay the foundation for the football program’s core ethos of “Building Men for Others.”
Micah lives in Westlake Village, California with his girlfriend Maggie Preas, a former UVA lacrosse player who is a budding star lacrosse coach in the region
