Russ Reetz is currently the Activities Director for Prior Lake High School. He is servant leader with a purpose of leading to connect students with meaningful adults that will foster love, appreciation, kindness, empathy and respect for self and others. Russ is an active member of the Minnesota Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association and a current Minnesota State High School League board member. He serves on the Coaches Education faculty for the MSHSL and has helped certify over 1500 new head coaches using the “Why We Play” curriculum. Reetz is committed to making room in today’s culture for purpose-based athletic experiences. He has worked to align his hiring practices, professional development for coaches and his program evaluation tools to ensure he is providing transformational experiences for all his coaches and athletes. Reetz has worked with his administrative team, superintendent, school board and coaches to redefine their collective purpose and definition of success. Russ and his wife Dana live in Prior Lake, MN with their two children, Lane (16) and Rian (14).
