Trent Hanson
Trent Hanson is the Athletic Director at Hastings High School in Hastings, MN. He has served as a professional educator for 23 years as a teacher, multi-sport coach, and administrator, including eight years as an Athletic Director. Trent’s purpose is to develop and inspire leaders of integrity and community through sports. At HHS he leads a comprehensive educational athletics department featuring 30 sports, 125 head and assistant coaches, and over 700 student-athletes. He is passionate about aligning purpose and process to activate transformational experiences for student-athletes and coaches. Trent is a Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA), an active member of the Minnesota Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (MNIAAA), and serves in a variety of Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) leadership roles with the coaches education faculty, education advisory committee, and ExCEL committee. Trent and his wife Amy have four children; son Ryan, and daughters Jaylen, Gavyn, and Lennyn.
